Heroes are artistic. They can guide an idea from its beginning all the way to completion.
Hope Whitaker has become a beloved teacher in the intermediate department. Her incredible artistic gifts are always on display in the Notre Dame Halls on billboards, doors, and banners. Her calm, fair but firm demeanor has helped Intermediate students develop a sense of discipline while still having fun learning with love. She is patient, yet willing to speak out for what she thinks is right. Hope has devoted herself to helping the students at the Notre Dame School and that makes her a real Notre Dame Hero.
