Everything You Need to Know About The 2013 Art/Talent Show in 5 Easy Steps!

The Show takes place at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church located on 9200 Inwood Road Dallas, TX 75220.

We will be in Asbury Hall.

The art show will take place just outside the hall in the lobby area.

1. Arrive by 6:30.

2. Make sure that you sign in your Notre Dame student at the registration desk at the door.

3. Buy a $1 program at the desk. This program will also enter you in the drawings we are having throughout the show.

Prizes include Free Red Box Rentals, Tickets for 2 at Landmark Theaters, Family Passes For Sandy Lake Park, Dinner for 2 at Spring Creek BBQ, $10 Gift Cards for Black Eyed Pea, Dinner for 2 at Cotton Patch Café, $5 Gift Cards for Smashburger, Rough Riders Gift Pack, 1 Dozen Sprinkles Cupcakes, $50 gift cards for Artistic Edge Hair Saloon, $25 Play cards at Speed Zone, Passes for Museum of Biblical Art, Free Moo-Yah Burgers, 2 Tickets to a Texas Rangers Game, $25 gift cards to Strikz, $20 Kroger Gift Card, $25 Ross Gift Card, Tickets for 2 to Cinemark Theaters, 1 Year-Long Family Pass for Heritage Farmstead, and 2 Tickets to Sea World San Antonio.

All you have to do is buy a program and be checking your lucky number during the drawings we will have throughout the show! Good luck!

4. Browse the student-made art. Students have created some awesome products that will be for sale at the show. We have t-shirts, paintings, tiles, trinket boxes, magnet boards, gift bags, and many other cool items. Items should be divided into departments- lower school, bridges, and vocational.

5. Enjoy the show!

One Hundred Days of School Fun!

Check out some of the fun and festivities from Bridges celebration of the 100th Day of School (a couple weeks ago, but we had to prepare our projects!). Group 2 led us in a countdown and groups 3 and 4 each performed short plays. A great time was had by all and there were some amazing projects! Check it out!

Give Us Your Input!

The staff of Notre Dame will be making a 'lip dub' video to be premiered at the 2013 Art/Talent Show. A lip dub video A lip dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. It is made by filming individuals or a group of people lip synching while listening to a song or any recorded audio then dubbing over it in post editing with the original audio of the song. Here is an example made by Ursuline Academy...

Tamra Dohman has connected with her students thanks to her passion and drive to serve. It is evident that she cares deeply for her students and does everything in her power to see them reach their full potential.
